Imperial Irrigation District candidates continue campaigning

Division 1 winner already pushing for plans - News 11's Wiley Jawhary reports

EL CENTRO, Calif. (KYMA, KECY) - The campaign for Imperial Irrigation District division is unfolding but for division 1, Alex Cardenas says he is ready to continue pushing for water rights.

Alex Cardenas ran for re-election for division one. He currently is on the IID Board of Directors and says his experience speaks for itself.

"Experience, I would encourage the voters to look at the candidate's forum and there is a clear distinction between myself and the challenger," he said.

For division 3, Gina Dockstader and Don Campbell are still competing.
