City of El Centro announces 1st Annual Trunk or Treat

EL CENTRO, Calif. (KYMA, KECY) - The City of El Centro announces its first-ever "Trunk or Treat" Friday to be held at Stark Field (830 S 4th St).

This first annual event will take place on Friday, October 22, from 5:30 – 7:30 pm. Admission is free for everyone.

'“Trunk or Treat” is a family event where children are able to trick-or-treat in a safe environment," describes Office of the City Manager & City Attorney Management Assistant Liz Zarate. "Children can dress up in their Halloween costumes and receive candies from various decorated vehicles, enjoy the Haunted Trail and purchase food from our local vendors."

Zarate clarifies that children must bring their own bags ro participate in trick-or-treating activities.
