That's a good boy!

Imperial, Calif. (KYMA, KSWT, KECY) - The Imperial County Sheriff's Office (ICSO) Jail Division is welcoming the newest member to its team: Correctional Canine Gauge.

K-9 Gauge and Handler, correctional Officer S. Lopez, are partnering up to eradicate contraband entering the Imperial County Jail.

Officer Lopez and K-9 Gauge recently completed the K-9 academy together, where K-9 Gauge became a certified Narcotic Detection Dog (NDD).

Found in Northern California shelter, Gauge's personality was quickly recognized as a great fit to become a K-9.

Officer Lopez and his four-legged friend are looking forward to a successful career.
