Nearly 950 pounds of liquid methamphetamine seized

SAN DIEGO (KYMA) - Nearly half-a-ton of liquid methamphetamine has been seized at the Otay Mesa Cargo Facility in San Diego.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers say they found 944 pounds of liquid meth concealed inside the fuel tank of commercial tractor-trailer.

CBP says the driver, 26-year-old Oscar Alonzo Cesena Camacho of Tijuana, was arrested and charged with importation of a controlled substance. If convicted, he faces a minimum of ten years to life in federal prison.
