Tracking cooler temperatures and breezy conditions during the week

We have a few lower pressure systems moving in during this week, which will finally bring us cooler temperatures plus breezier conditions.

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA) - Did you get up early this morning? A rare Blood Moon will that light up our skies here in the Desert Southwest this morning. Take a look at some of the pictures that was sent in to us by our viewers.

Tuesday has also been a cooler and breezy day. Going into our evening, it will be cooler with a little breeze, where winds will be coming from the north with wind gusts 10-20 MPH. Clouds will also increase overnight, but it will stay nice and dry.

I am tracking some slight changes this week. We do have a few lower pressure systems that will move in the Desert Southwest, which will bring in cooler temperatures and more winds later this week.

Heads up! We do have stronger winds moving in on Thursday morning. Tracking northerly winds and could get a little gusty in some areas. No alerts are issued as of right now, but I will continue to track and bring more details.

We are finally getting a break from the 90s and record temperatures for the next several days as our temperatures will cool into the upper 70s later this week along with breezier conditions.

There are slight chance a weather system may bring a round of light precipitation this weekend, but it is looking like little to none. I will keep tracking and bring more details as we get closer.
