Nightclub shooting in Minneapolis leaves nine injured

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. (NBC, KYMA) - Authorities are investigating an overnight shooting in Minneapolis that left nine people injured.

Police say officers responded to the shooting at The Reign Event Center just before 12:30 a.m.

At the scene officers found a large crowd and located multiple gunshot victims.

Four people, two men and two women all in their 20s, were taken to the hospital bye first responders, one with potentially life-threatening gunshot wounds.

Five other people, including another man with potentially life-threatening gunshot wounds, arrived to local area hospitals on their own.

Police believe the gunfire stemmed from an altercation.

At this time, there have been no arrests made.
