Fatal shooting involving ICE agents in Maine

BIDDEFORD, Maine (NBC, KYMA) - A person was shot and killed during an incident involving U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement in Biddeford, Maine.

FBI and crime scene investigators are on the scene.

Local law enforcement will not be involved in the investigation according to a statement. There are no details as the investigation is just underway at this time.

According to a statement from Maine Governor Janet Mills, "The Maine state police are supporting The Attorney General's Office, Maine's Office of Chief Medical Examiner, and federal officials to determine the facts of what occurred this morning."
