YCSO identifies new person of interest in 5th Street homicide

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - The Yuma County Sheriff's Office (YCSO) identified a new person of interest in the West 5th Street homicide that happened on April 4.

YCSO investigators identified 26-year-old, Grant Daniel Easley, of Yuma, Ariz. as a person of interest in this case.

He is described by YCSO as a white male, about 5'11" feet tall and weighs around 173 lbs.

YCSO recommends that the public does not approach Easley and instead call law enforcement.

On April 4, YCSO was called to 5th Street just West of Avenue B around 12:30 a.m. and found an unresponsive man with multiple gunshot wounds.

The victim was pronounced dead on the scene after lifesaving measures were performed.
