Yuma County cases rise to 337

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - The Yuma County Public Health District confirmed 24 new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) Friday, bringing the total to 337.

The death toll remains at 4.

The county also sees a slight decrease in hospitalizations, by three patients. However, the county has not released specific information regarding COVID-19 recoveries.

The 20-44 age carries the bulk of countywide cases, making up 48 percent of the total.

Numbers show there is an increase of three patients in the critical 65-and-older category, now at 43. There is also a slight increase in patients under 20, rising by two.
