30 more cases of coronavirus in Yuma County

Health officials report no additional deaths

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - The Yuma County Health District (YCHD) confirmed 30 more cases of coronavirus Thursday afternoon. That brings the total number of cases countywide to 313.

The county hasn't seen any additional deaths.

Health officials aren't releasing any information about the county's newest cases, but new numbers show they include 10 women and 20 men.

Right now most of the county's cases are in patients between the ages of 20 and 44. That's contrary to what the state of Arizona is seeing overall. Most of the cases across the state involve people 65 and older.

Yuma County continue to make progress with testing. It has now screened more than 3,800 people.
