Hospital plans special tribute for National Nurses Week

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - Yuma Regional Medical Center (YRMC) will be feeling blue for the next several nights. But the hospital's not sad, it's paying tribute to its healthcare heroes.

Beginning Wednesday night, YRMC will bathe itself in blue light for the next 11 nights in recognition of both National Nurses week, which is this week, and National Hospital Week, which begins Sunday.

Due to social distancing requirements, and concerns over the spread of coronavirus, the public is not encouraged to attend the lighting.
