Three found dead in a San Diego home

SAN DIEGO (NBC, KYMA) - The San Diego Police Department (SDPD) said three people, including a child, were found dead in a home in San Diego.

Someone reported hearing gunshots at about 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, with SDPD saying the victims were a man, woman and child.

In a letter sent to families, the Pershing Middle School principal confirmed the death of an eighth grader.

Police said there's no evidence of forced entry into the home, and said there is no danger to the community.
