Two hurt, one arrested after SUV crashes into Southern California home

LONG BEACH, Calif. (NBC, KYMA) - Two women were hurt and one man was arrested when an SUV plowed into a Southern California home Tuesday afternoon.

Police say the women were hit by debris inside this house when the SUV came crashing through.

The crash happened a little before 2 p.m. in Long Beach. Police arrested the driver on suspicion of driving under the influence.

He and the two women were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
