California chocolate truck caught on fire, no injuries reported

COLFAX, Calif. (NBC, KYMA/KECY) - On Interstate 80 Monday morning in Colfax, a semi-truck carrying 40,000 pounds of chocolate caught fire.

The driver said the brakes on the trailer was the culprit.

He was able to unhook his truck, but the fire destroyed the trailer and turned all that chocolate into a dripping, sticky mess on the side of the road.

No one was injured in the fire, but traffic was shut down for a while as they moved the mound of melting chocolate and the remains of the truck to the side of the road.
