San Francisco airport experiences power outage

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. (NBC, KYMA/KECY) - San Francisco International Airport experienced a major power outage on Tuesday.

The outage affected ticketing, baggage and several gates at the airport. Several flights had to be diverted to San Jose Mineta International Airports. However, others were canceled.

The outage lasted around 90 minutes. All power has since been restored.

The cause of the outage is still undetermined and is under investigation.
