One dead, another injured due to falling wall in California
LOS ANGELES (CBS, KYMA/KECY) - A worker was killed by a falling cinder block wall Wednesday in the northern Los Angeles neighborhood of Pacoima, according to CBS News Los Angeles.
The Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) initially reported the victim was conscious, but died while crews attempted to free the worker, CBS News Los Angeles reported.
CBS News Los Angeles also said that one other person was injured and was taken to the hospital with a complaint of back pain, according to CBS News Los Angeles.
Investigators will work to learn how the collapse happened. The identities of the victims have not been released.
