President Biden to visit CA areas affected by storms

SANTA CLARA COUNTY, Calif. (NBC, KYMA/KECY) - President Joe Biden will travel to central California Thursday to visit areas devastated by recent storms.

A statement from the White House says the President will visit with first responders and state and local officials.

He will also survey recover efforts and determine how much additional federal support the areas need.

In addition, the Lexington Reservoir in Santa Clara County is more than 100% full; the first time in nearly four years.

Since late December, multiple storms have dumped rain and snow across the state. The storm has washed out roads, bridges, destroying homes and other structures, and triggering landslides.
