INDIO, Calif. (KYMA, KECY) - U.S. Customs and Border Protection says a task force arrested an undocumented immigrant who also has a previous conviction.

At about 9 a.m. on Thursday, March 31, agents from the Coachella Valley Violent Crime Gang task force did a parole compliance check in Palm Springs.

One person was arrested after finding they did not have the proper documentation to be in the United States.

The 45-year-old man has a previous conviction for sexual acts with a minor and was previously sentenced to eight years in prison.
