Unclaimed $26 million lottery ticket in California expires today

(KYMA, KECY/ CNN) - California state lottery players need to check their pockets as an unclaimed winning lottery ticket worth $26 million is set to expire Thursday.

The ticket was sold at a gas station in Norwalk in November and Superlotto Plus jackpots must be claimed within 180 days from the winning date.

The winning numbers are 23, 36, 12, 31 and 13 with the mega number of 10.

If a winner does not come forward and claim, the cash prize of $19.7 million goes to California public schools.

The gas station that sold the ticket got a $130,000 bonus.
