Buffalo Bills fire Sean McDermott as team’s head coach

(CNN, KYMA) - Another NFL coach is now looking for work as the Buffalo Bills fired head coach Sean McDermott after the team lost the Divisional Round Saturday.

He's been at the helm since 2017 and has taken the team to the playoffs eight times. The Bills also won five AFC East Division titles, but the team never advanced to the Super Bowl under his leadership.

So now, he joins the eight other NFL coaches, including Jonathan Gannon and Pete Carroll, who have been told to the hit the road this season. Only the New York Giants and Atlanta Falcons have filled their vacancies so far.

In addition to the nine fired coaches, Mike Tomlin voluntarily resigned his position at the Pittsburgh Steelers last week.
