One man dead after late night crash
Two Sedans collided near 45th Avenue and West 24th Street resulting in serious injuries
UPDATE (6/9): New information on the deadly crash Monday night in south Yuma.
Yuma police released the name of the man killed as 51-year-old Julian Castillo.
UPDATE (10 AM): The Yuma Police Department (YPD) sent out a press release about Monday night's crash and said one man died, and three teenagers were injured.
Investigation revealed a black Mazda 3 was driving southbound on the canal bank approaching the area of 45th Avenue and West 24th Street.
Yuma Police said it appeared the Mazda failed to yield when it entered 24th Street from the canal and crashed with a tan Toyota Camry that was driving westbound on 24th Street.
The driver of the Mazda, who was a 51-year-old man, died at the scene.
Yuma Police said there were no passengers in the Mazda.
The 17-year-old teen driver of the Toyota and his passengers who were 15 and 17-year-old teens were injured.
Two of the teenagers were taken to Yuma Regional Medical Center for treatment.
YPD said that alcohol appears to be a factor in this crash and there was evidence of alcoholic beverages in the Mazda.
This case is still under investigation.

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - Just after 10:30 p.m. on Monday, two Sedans collided resulting in multiple injuries.
"That's all I can tell you at this point as the investigation is still ongoing," Yuma Police Sgt. Dennis Dyer said. "There were multiple injuries that I can share with you."
The collision happened on the 4400 block of West 24th Street between Avenues C & D, about one mile east of Cibola High School.
Both vehicles were badly damaged with one being flipped upside down.
