Turquoise Alert: Skylar Conville

MARICOPA COUNTY, Ariz. (KYMA) - A Turquoise Alert was issued for a runaway teen from Apache Junction, Arizona.

13-year-old Skylar Conville is described as White, approximately five-feet, eight-inches tall, weighing 125 pounds, and has blue eyes and brown hair, according to the Apache Junction Police Department (AJPD).

She was last seen wearing multi-camouflage pants, a dark gray shirt and a hot pink bonnet, and was last seen at Circle K, located in the area of W. Superstition Blvd and N. Meridian Drive.

AJPD says Conville "refused to enter a family member's vehicle" following an argument she had with several family members in the store's parking lot, and said she "walked southbound through the parking lot" at around 1:05 p.m.

Conville then approached and entered what AJPD believed to be "an early 2000s white Chevrolet Impala four-door sedan with damage to the front driver-side bumper."

The vehicle was last seen driving westbound on Superstition Blvd before 1:10 p.m., and security camera footage identified the driver as a man believed to be in his 50s or 60, has black-and-gray har and a beard and dark eyes, and was wearing a gray tank top, black shorts and black sneakers.
