DoorDash delivery robot disrupts SWAT operation

CHANDLER, Ariz. (NBC, KYMA) - While trying to make a food delivery, a robot wandered into the wrong place at the wrong time.

It happened this week in Chandler, Arizona, near Phoenix, when a SWAT team used flash-bang explosives on the window of a home.

However, in the middle of everything came Dot, a robot owned by DoorDash, which was in the neighborhood to make a food delivery.

As Dot approached, police ordered the robot to turn around, and Dot was eventually taken into custody by a DoorDash technician.
