One dead, two hospitalized following bee attack in Arizona

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (NBC, KYMA/KECY) - One person is dead and two others were sent to the hospital after being attacked by a swarm of bees.

First responders say the victims were working on the roof of a retirement community in Scottsdale when they were stung.

One resident says he heard screams at about 9:30 a.m. Monday.

Rescuers took three people to the hospital, where one of them died.

Investigators haven't said if the person who died had a bee allergy, or how many times the workers were stung.
