US Border Patrol tactical response arm

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA)- In addition to protecting the border, the Border Patrol is also dedicated to assisting law enforcement agencies during high-risk circumstances such as active shootings among others.

These types of missions are conducted by the tactical team, the U.S. Border Patrol Tactical Response Arm is also known as BORTAC.

BORTAC is trained to carry out high-risk missions that go beyond the border, on multiple occasions the members of this special team are sent to areas in Central America.
