Secretary of State Anthony Blinken testifying on Afghanistan

(KYMA, KECY/ CNN) - Secretary of State Antony Blinken is set to testify before a Senate Committee about the U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan on September 14th.

Blinken is the only witness currently scheduled for the hearing.

The U.S. has drawn international criticism over the chaotic withdrawal from Afghanistan and still, the United States's work in Afghanistan is not over.

The White House said Sunday that there are still roughly 100 U.S. citizens in the country and officials are working to get them out.
