A West Virginia high school principal is arrested after multiple hidden cameras found in female locker room

BROOKE COUNTY, W.Va. (NBC, KYMA) - A Brooke County, West Virginia high school principal is facing charges after multiple recording devices were discovered in a female locker room, and other areas of his school.

Police were called to Brooke High School after a camera was found in a female locker room. During a sweep of the building, four cameras in total were discovered.

Police say principal Eric James was taken into custody during the investigation. He has since been charged with two felonies and is being held on $100,000 bond.

The cameras and electronic devices were seized at the school and at James' home.

The investigation is on going. Officials held a press conference yesterday to talk about the investigation.
