Shooting at a Detroit funeral

DETROIT, Mich. (NBC, KYMA) - Fast action from Police already on scene help to minimize the bloodshed outside of a Detroit funeral.

Gunfire rang out in front of a Detroit West Side church, leaving five people shot, including the person police say opened fire.

Officers already across the street saw everything unfold.

According to police an argument started outside of this church where a funeral was held. A person pulled a gun and shot into the crowd hitting four people.

However, police were across the street providing special attention for a visitation that received priors threats. The police jumped into action and shot the person who fired at four others.

According to a release from the Mayor, the victims were in their 20s.
