FIRST ALERT FORECAST: Gusty and sunny days coming within the next week

Temps are expected to remain pleasant in the area for the coming week along with breezy conditions persisting

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - Following the passage of a cold front, drier conditions will spread into the region Wednesday and Thursday with temperatures hovering below normal. A fast moving weather system on Friday will lead to a few higher terrain showers and localized gusty winds along the Colorado River Valley. Otherwise, cooler than normal conditions should persist through the weekend with areas of morning freezing temperatures outside of urbanized communities.
