Yuma’s Old Town Christmas tree lighting this Friday

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - Yuma is getting ready to light up the Christmas spirit.

The Old Town Christmas event will be this Friday, December 2 in Downtown Yuma.

There will be food, music and Santa Claus is expected to land on the roof of the Yuma Art Center.

"It's basically a celebration throughout downtown are not just main St. but over Madison Ave as well and coincides with the first Friday that the merchants put on the first friday of every month," says Dave Nash, City of Yuma Public Affairs.

The Old Town Christmas will be this coming Friday, December 2 from 4 through 9 p.m.

Photos with Santa will be free and on Madison Avenue.
