Local school hosts Christmas Extravaganza

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - A local school will give you the opportunity to learn how Christmas is celebrated around the world.

Harvest Preparatory Academy will have its Christmas Extravaganza starting this weekend.

You will be able to experience it in a drive-thru light tunnel.

Students and staff will wear traditional costumes from other countries.

"We're asking 3 nonperishable food items per vehicle; cash donations are also accepted because everything we receive will go to our operation eggnog which go to help families that are in need for their Christmas," says Kristin Boyko from the Harvest Preparatory Academy Marketing Department.

The event will be every day starting this Saturday, December 3 through December 18 from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Harvest Preparatory Academy located at 350 East 18th street in Yuma.
