Latest update on Ducey’s shipping container border wall

KYMA

ARIZONA (KYMA, KECY) - The Department of Justice (DOJ) asks the federal court to dismiss Governor Ducey's case about the shipping containers along the Southwest border.

Arizona Governor Doug Ducey's administration put up shipping containers to fill in the border gaps near Yuma and recently in Cochise County which are both on federal land.

DOJ is asking the court to dismiss the case in its new filing.

Arizona claims the land is on state land and not on federal land, keeping the shipping containers along the border.

In an article, it mentioned that the DOJ says this claim "flies in the face of agreements that go back more than a century."
