Fatal crash on 32nd street in Yuma
YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - One person died in a car accident this afternoon in Yuma.
The crash happened around 1 p.m. at the intersection of Avenue 3E and 32nd street.
Yuma Police Department (YPD) says a white Dodge Dart was traveling eastbound on 32nd street when for an unknown reason, the driver veered into the bike lane and hit a traffic light pole.
YPD says the victim was a 72-year-old man who died at the scene.
YPD, Yuma County deputies, and Yuma Fire Department were all on the scene.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
