CASA of Arizona celebrates National Adoption Day in Yuma

National Adoption Day is in November and will celebrate hundreds of children finding their home

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Arizona will celebrate National Adoption Day on November 19 in Yuma.

According to CASA, National Adoption Day raises awareness of more than 115,000 children wanting to be adopted from foster care in the U.S.

Yuma County will be having its 14th annual adoption day on Saturday, November 19 from 9 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

The event will be at the Yuma County Juvenile Justice Center located at 2440 W. 28th Street, Yuma, AZ.

CASA of Arizona is also hosting a CASA volunteer information session on Wednesday, November 2 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
