Wounded military free fall instructor receives gift

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - A local military free fall instructor at Yuma proving grounds was injured in a jumping accident about three weeks ago.

Today on October 14, 33-year-old Britton Cole was gifted a new mattress to help with his road to recovery.

Our local Ashley HomeStore says because of Cole's service, they are donating a Tempur-Pedic mattress to thank him for his sacrifice.

The Tempur-Pedic mattress was worth nearly $9,000.

Cole says as soon as he gets signed off, he will jump again and continue serving our country.
