Imperial County preparing for election day

MGN

EL CENTRO, Calif. (KYMA, KECY) - The Imperial County registrar of voters says it wants to make this year's mid-term elections as convenient as possible for voters.

Linsey Dale says there are approximately 87,000 registered voters across the Imperial Valley. She says volunteers are working around the clock to ensure a smooth election process.

"They can drop off either in the mail or at one of our eight convenient drop boxes," she said.

Dale says if a voter wants to vote in person they will have to surrender their ballots or vote on a provisional ballot.
