Antelope Rams volleyball snaps two-game losing streak against Salome

Antelope swept the Frogs to get back to their winning ways at home on Tuesday night - 13 On Your Side's Luis Lopez reports

WELLTON, Ariz. (KYMA,KECY) - The Antelope Rams defeated the Salome Frogs in straight sets at home on Tuesday night.

The Rams won 25-16, 25-21, and 27-25 respectively.

Tuesday's win comes after the Rams dropped two consecutive games, which came following their 7-0 start to the season.

Among the standouts for the Rams included senior Marissa Carrillo.

Carrillo had six kills to go along with 12 assists.

In the end, it was another senior who helped seal the win for Antelope.

Yareli Manriquez came through with two aces to take set three 27-25 and earn the sweep for the Rams.

Antelope's next three games will be on the road.

Head coach Rhona Taylor's squad will next be in action on Thursday Oct 6 against the Mayer Wildcats at 5:00 p.m.
