Three-vehicle collision in Somerton
Collision in Somerton on the intersection of Avenue D and Highway 95
SOMERTON, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - A three-vehicle collision occurred on the intersection of Avenue D and Highway 95 in Somerton.
The Somerton Cocopah Fire Department responded to the accident on Thursday, September 29 around 3:40 p.m.
A blue Hyundai sedan, a white Hyundai SUV and a black Chevrolet pickup was found by the responding units.
The blue Hyundai was traveling westbound on Highway 95 and it struck the white Hyundai SUV that was turning north on Avenue D, then the white Hyundai collided with the black Chevrolet pickup that was waiting to make a right turn on Avenue D.
The press release also said all patients were transported to Yuma Regional Medical Center for evaluation.
An investigation is still ongoing and is conducted by the Somerton Police Department.
