Camarena Memorial Library hosts Noche Mexicana

The Camarena Memorial Library invites the whole family to a fun event - Noche Mexicana

CALEXICO, Calif. (KYMA, KECY) - The Camarena Memorial Library will be hosting a fun special event on Wednesday, September 28 at 5 p.m.

"September is el mes de la patria celebrated in Mexico so we are having a noche Mexicana to bring a little bit of the culture a little bit of tradition of the Mexican culture into Calexico. said Lizeth Legaspy, the Library Manager.

Legaspy also says the event is to encourage children to use the library and read books.

The event will have different booths with different activities such as reading books to the attendees, arts and crafts, games and more.

The library will be providing free snacks, drinks and free books.

The attendees are encourage to bring and wear their Mexican attire.

In order to attend this event you must register your child at http://calexicolibrary.org.
