Arizona Western College releases new logos and colors

Arizona Western College recently rebranded their new logos and colors

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - If you went to Arizona Western College (AWC) these past days, you may have noticed some changes around the campus.

After almost a year of surveys with students and teachers, the AWC marketing team came out with a new logo and colors.

We told you about this earlier this week but today we got to speak to some Matadors.

They tell us they're excited about this change.

"We landed on this that we feel is very bold and clean and crisp and it's very important to us that our logo will scale up or down very well in design that also stand up strongly next to our university partners and we feel this does that," AWC Associate Dean of Marketing and Communications Mandy Heil stated.

The change idea came about because many students felt the previous logo and colors were outdated.

The changes will take about a full year to complete.
