AWC accepting nominations for TEDx conference

Arizona Western College will have a TEDxAWC conference on March 17, 2023

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - Arizona Western College (AWC) is accepting nominations for potential speakers for a very important event happening in 2023.

Next year's theme will be shift the drift which will initiate conversations with the community on how to create awareness on global situations and have new ideas to make a positive change for a better future.

"I would like to invite particularly our local voices to explore and share to the community their amazing ideas the new perspectives and help us reframe what is possible on time of changing the drift," AWC Professor of Multilingual Composition/Specialist Sara Amani stated.
