SDSU gets big-time money

BRAWLEY, Calif. (KYMA, KECY) - On Tuesday, Sept. 20, Senator Ben Hueso and Assemblymember Eduardo Garcia will present President Adela de la Torre with a check for $80 million for San Diego State University.

The $80 million investment represents new funding for the university’s plans to significantly expand educational, research and economic development opportunities in Imperial County. 

Construction is set to start in early 2024.
