Lane restrictions on I-8 in Yuma on Araby Road for repairs

Restrictions will take place from August 2 to 5 due to repairs on the bridge

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - The Arizona Department of Transportation will have construction on Interstate 8 in Yuma starting at 5 a.m. on Tuesday, August 2.

Maintenance crews will repair the pavement on the bridge from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. beginning Tuesday, August 2 to Friday, August 5.

These are the following restrictions that will occur:

  • Eastbound I-8 between Araby Road and Avenue 8 1/2 E will only have one lane open.
  • There will be a 14-foot width restriction.
  • The speed limit will be 55 mph.
