VIDEO: 3-year-old child shoots self in Wisconsin
(NBC) - A three year-old in Milwaukee, Wisconsin fatally shot himself after firing a gun in his home. A woman has been charged in connection to the shooting.
Authorities were called to a home early Friday to investigate the shooting.
According to the police, the three-year-old got a hold of a gun and fired a shot which hit him.
He was rushed to a hospital where he later died.
A 28-year-old woman has been arrested in connection to the shooting.
Her connection to the child has not been provided.
In wake of the shooting, Milwaukee police has urged the public to keep firearms locked with a gun lock in a secure area.
