VIDEO: Small plane crashes into Austin lake
(KYMA, KECY/NBC) - Paddleboarders rescue a pilot after a small plane crashes into a lake in Austin, Texas.
According to Texas Parks and Wildlife, a game warden pilot crashes into the Lady Bird Lake in Austin and was rescued by paddleboarders.
A Parks and Wildlife spokesperson mentions how the plane came out of routine maintenance and the pilot went on a test flight when they discover there were mechanical issues which causes the crash.
The pilot was taken to the hospital and has possible serious injuries.
