Arizona at Work to host law enforcement job fair in Yuma

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - A new job fair focusing on law enforcement will soon be coming to Yuma County.

On Tuesday, April 26, Arizona at Work will be hosting the event at the MLK Neighborhood Center on 13th Avenue and 3rd Street.

Several local agencies such as the Yuma Police Department and Sheriff's Office will be represented.

Bringing multiple copies of your resume is recommended, as well as dressing professionally.

“The labor shortage is impacting different varieties of industries, including law enforcement, so it’s an opportunity for us to help connect them with individuals to fill those open positions and see if they will hire those individuals," says Executive Director of Arizona at Work Nidia Herrera.

Pre-registration on Arizona@Work's website is encouraged but walk-ins are also welcome.
