CDC: 90% of US population in low, medium COVID levels

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) released new data regarding COVID-19 levels in the United States.

It says as of March 3, a majority of the U.S. population are living in an area with at least low or medium levels of COVID-19.

Yuma's Coronavirus community level is described as "high" and has a recommendation to wear masks, as well as receive a vaccine.

The CDC is planning to update this data every Thursday, which will include data on specific counties and can be found here.
