Calmer conditions to start off the week

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY-TV) - It's Monday! We are starting the day with chilly temperatures and we will warm up by the afternoon into the mid-70s. It's going to be a beautiful day with clear and sunny skies.

Winds will remain light as we aren't expected to deal with any major gusty winds for today. Come tomorrow we can experience stronger winds leading to possible windy conditions.

By tonight we will cool down as temperatures will drop into the upper 40s and 30s for both the Imperial Valley and Yuma areas. Might want to grab a jacket if you have any dinner plans for this evening.

A ridge of high pressure is keeping us warm and dry. We can expect to see lots of sunshine along with clear skies to continue for tomorrow. Later this week we can expect to see more clouds, while temperatures will continue to remain in the 70s and possibly reach the upper 70s later this week.
