Snow seen on the Las Vegas Strip

White stuff provides brief respite from triple-digit temperatures

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (KYMA, KECY) - Move over Wayne Newton - it's never been so cool on the Las Vegas Strip!

Snow was actually seen on the main drag in Sin City Thursday. Three different venues offered visitors a chill activity to help them survive the heat wave. The thermometer was expected to climb above 110, but that didn't stop people from building snowmen and having a snowball fight.

More chilling inside some Vegas venues. The Icebar and Minus-5 Degree Ice Experience both offer people a frosty spot to beat the heat. Both lounges keep their thermostats at 23-degrees. The bars also offer their signature cocktails in classes made entirely of ice.
