Vince Ybarra – Anchor/Producer

Vince Ybarra joined KYMA in June 2021 as our Imperial Valley reporter. He was born and raised in Sacramento, CA. For the last nine years, he worked in retail banking. It was during this time he realized he wanted to follow his passion of storytelling. Vince went back to school and graduated from California State University, Sacramento (CSUS) with his bachelor’s degree in Journalism.

In his spare time, Vince loves to travel and visit see different cities across the country. He loves movies and live music, he can’t wait to go to concerts again.

Vince’s maternal grandmother is from the valley. He’s excited to learn more about the community and share your stories.
